The story begins in London in 1997 with the creation of Torsion Recz. In 2002, the duo relocated to Marseille and joined forces with DJ Youz and Keshno, forming the collective Break Artivist. Together, they shaped a massive, industrial, break‑driven sound—until Keshno’s sudden departure in 2011, which marked the end of an era. THE RESURGENCE — CD WORM aka PunkuterZ After several years of silence, Crackhead Worm returned in 2018, signing with MOJÖHEAD REC. Reborn as CD Worm, he unleashed a series of raw, high‑voltage releases across all major platforms, including standout tracks like Deaf in Vegas and What Do We Live For. THE NEW ERA — PUNKUTERZ & PUNKUTER.Hz MUSIC Now operating under the name PunkuterZ, the project enters its most uncompromising phase. Rejecting all genre boundaries, PunkuterZ forges an aesthetic he calls Hard Listening Electronic Music: a dense, aggressive fusion of industrial textures, complex rhythms, and cyberpunk noise—engineered for dark rooms and powerful sound systems.
